A new friend told me he’s studying Zen and he believed we were all Buddha in our cores; some of us might be more clear than the others at present time; and we all had potential to be crystal clear if we wanted to be in that space and worked towards it.
I told him that’s really consistent with coaching I practiced. I, as a coach, believe that my clients are capable and whole. My job is to use listening and questioning to guide my clients to get clarity about who they are and what they want to do in their life.
So often, we focus on what we don’t have and who we aren’t instead of what we have and who we are. The concept we are all Buddha in our core excites me and inspires me.
