I watched Twelve Clock High (movie) and was very impressed
by it. It focused on leadership and team work. It showed a good leader could
build a team in a short time. A leader having clarity and confidence knows how to place
people at the right place at the right time.
A leader who over identifies with his people could be
blinded by relationship. And other’s honest feedback is a key for him to access
the reality. If he is not open to feedback, he will lead the team to failures.
Michael Grinder’s book “Charisma – The Art of Relationships”
talks about people’s relationships. Anyone who has ever owned a cat and a dog
instinctively knows the differences between their personalities. By using the
analogy of animals, this book examines people’s behaviors as if they are cats
and dogs.
The book offered me a different perspective when I watched
the movie. Sometimes, things come to our life for a reason. 🙂
