“Greatness is not a function of circumstance. Greatness, it turns out, is largely a matter of conscious choice” – Good to Great by Jim Collins.

Last few weeks, I have been reacting to my work circumstance and from time to time, I lost my greatness. When I couldn’t be myself and acted for being looking good, I lost the freedom of choice.

“You must maintain unwavering faith that you can and will prevail in the end, regardless of the difficulties, AND at the same time have the discipline to confront the most brutal facts of your current reality, whatever they might be.” – Good to Great

The brutal facts for me to confront is my ability to focus on what’s company’s best interest and how I can contribute in an environment where the clarity is missing and trust is lacking.
