Effective communication and team building – Emergenetics Experience

I was in a training on facilitating effective communications and team building through “Emergenetics”; a personality and behavior profile. Emergenetics provides a simple way to raise awareness of team dynamics through strength-based thinking and behavior analysis.

Personally, I learned to work more effectively with different type of personalities through verbal and written communications. Before the training, I tended to talk and write too succinctly and didn’t offer enough of the relational connections that some people are looking for. Having an editor with a similar tendency didn’t help. I am in the process of updating my web content with a different editor so that I can deliver powerful calls to action that will be positively received by a broader base of audiences.

What I really like about this tool is that through the lens of Emergenetics, organizations have the ability to:

In my training session, the master trainer Harold Suire brought in Teach for America staff (New Orleans) and made a significant impact to those passionate young educators. It was very special for me since Teach for America is the organization that placed my youngest daughter in her current teaching position last summer. My daughter is blossoming into a wonderful teacher, and her 7^th grade students are very fortunate to have her. I appreciate Teach for America for offering teaching opportunities to college graduates. I also appreciate Harold applied Emergenetic framework to facilitate learning of educators and trainees.
