Curiosity
“At its heart, adult development is about inquiry. As we broaden and deepen our inquiry, we become more aware of self, other, and systems. We notice assumptions, physicality, sound, feelings and so on. It’s this awareness that gives us more options to navigate our challenges and generate our approaches.”
This excerpt from the MyWorldView certification program has sparked some questions in my mind. What exactly fuels our inquiry? Is it our innate curiosity, our desire to learn and grow? Or a lack of clarity that drives us to seek answers?
As young kids, we asked many questions because we were curious and eager to learn. When or why did our curiosity stop if we are no longer inquisitive?
Are you still curious and asking questions to deepen your learning? I am curious about your experience and observations.
