Today I was certified by the International Coach Federation (ICF) as an Associate Certified Coach. I am thrilled!
ICF is a nonprofit organization formed by professionals worldwide who practice business and personal coaching. ICF has 9,500 members in 70 countries and over 132 chapters in 34 counties. To be credentialed by ICF means that I am a trained coach, who exceeds the minimum standards set by ICF on coaching training and practicing.
I have been advocating for ICF credentials in the coaching community. I think a self-regulated profession will gain public’s recognition and trust. I also believe going through the process of getting certified by ICF is a commitment for the quality of my coaching work.
