I have been watching American Idol with my teen. I was totally amazed by the participants. Some of them were really good but some were sadly bad. I was just blown away by their courage, and willingness to give it a try.
Some might say they were too naïve to know they were not good. To me, if they think themselves to be good enough to perform, they can be open to see possibilities in life! So many people are told that they are good enough; and yet they can’t believe in themselves. They pretend, they hide, and they sit back.
What could be more inspiring to see people just jump on an opportunity with the confidence that they are good enough! They are American idol!
